The basketball team Zenit is not interested in acquiring the American guard Mike James, with whom CSKA Moscow terminated the contract, a source close to the club told Metaratings.ru.

Accordingly, there are no negotiations with the 31-year-old athlete.

Total Basket earlier reported that the St. Petersburg team is still looking for a player after Kevin Pangos left for Cleveland and decided in favor of the American.

The Red and Blue broke the contract with the basketball player on Saturday, September, 11. James played in 87 games for CSKA, averaging 18.8 points and 4.7 assists. Under the agreement with CSKA the guard finished the previous season playing for the Brooklyn Nets.
