WNBA Preview: Wings face stiff test versus Aces

03:00 PM ET: Dallas Wings vs Las Vegas Aces: The Wings who entered the Playoffs after winning the last game is going to take on the Western Conference table-toppers Aces. Aces is the fastest-paced team in the league at 81.2 and lead in points per game with 89.1 Las Vegas holds the opposition to the lowest three-point percentage at 30.2% whereas Wings ranked third in the three points attempt at 23.1 so they’d have to be cautious while shooting from there. Aces rank first in rebounds per game while Wings is just behind at second. The biggest challenge for Wings will be controlling the stacked frontline of Hamby-Wilson-Young in the mix with Cambage out of the game with COVID-19. The Wings is lucky to have Satou Sabally back and she showed her skills in full flow during the last game and will play an essential role alongside Kayla Thorton to thwart Aces’ effort. The Aces also possess incredible shooters and scorers in Williams, Plum, and Gray but Wings also present scoring from guard areas through Gray, Ogunbowale, and Mabrey so it is mainly the frontline that poses bigger issues. The Wings has to be careful of the Aces early offense as Las Vegas is able to go on huge runs.
