High-flying Center and defensive phenom Clint Capela has agreed to a two-year 46 million dollars worth of extension with the Atlanta Hawks. Capela ended the 2020-21 NBA season as the rebounding leader and enjoying an Eastern Conference Finals trip with Atlanta. Hawks acquired Clint from the Houston Rockets in 2020 in exchange for Robert Covington and Jordan Bell.
Capela is known for his hops and he has the ability to control the motion inside the paint on both ends of the floor. He is a rugged rebounder and averaged a career-high and league-high 14.3 RPG last year along with 2.0 BPG and 15.2 PPG. He averages a double-double for his career with 12.7 PPG and 10.4 RPG plus 1.6 BPG.
