West Ham and Aston Villa played a thriller as the game ended with a one-one draw. West Ham jumped to a one-nil lead in the early minutes of the game and it seemed like they will end up winning before Remi Allen struck in the stoppage time. West Ham is still searching for a win after two games, while Aston Villa has secured a win and a draw in their first two encounters.

West Ham made the first incision because of a lapse on the defensive side by Aston Villa whose defender Anita Asanta got muddled up and missed a clearance as Adrianna Leon received a ball from Lisa Evans and nailed the goal. Aston Villa kept creating chances but failed to net one and it seemed like West Ham is going to make a wonderful escape before Remi Allen’s diving header two minutes into the stoppage time tied the game as she received a pass from Ramona Petzelberger. Remi Allen has now scored two goals in two games at crucial phases. Aston Villa controlled the ball 55 % of the time and also had six shots on target compared to West Ham’s four.
