The USA golfing team has pieced together an incredible run of 11-5 by the end of the second day in Ryder Cup against the defending champions Europe. The team began the day on a 6-2 advantage and dominated the foursomes yet again, decimating them in most parts of the game. The USA needs to attain 3 and a half points to complete the win while Europeans will need to make a record comeback of 14 points to defend the cup.
Eleven out of 12 American players pitched in with at least half of a point except Jordan Spieth. Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa pushed the USA efforts easily winning their matches. For Europe, World number one Jon Rahm and Spain’s Sergio Garcia once again dazzled with their performances, with the pair winning 2-1 in the fourballs.
