In a first, the USA will co-host the T20 World Cup that is to be played in 2024. The other host includes West Indies. ICC also announced that Pakistan has earned the rights to host the 2025 Champions Trophy which will be their first major ICC event since 1996 World Cup. South Africa earned the privilege to host the 2027 ODI World Cup while India will host three major ICC tournaments. India also has the rights for the 2023 ODI World Cup. The list of the hosts for next major ICC events is given below:
- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024: West Indies and USA;
- ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Pakistan;
- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026: India and Sri Lanka;
- ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2027: Namibia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa;
- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028: Australia and New Zealand;
- ICC Champions Trophy 2029: India;
- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2030: England, Ireland, and Scotland;
- ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2031: India and Bangladesh.
