Manchester City overwhelmed Arsenal in the Premier League fixture 5-0 as Arsenal lost their third game in a row. Manchester nailed three goals in the first half as Arsenal's offense and defense both continued to be lukewarm. This is City’s second win in a row after they lost the opener to Tottenham Hotspurs.

The torrid game for Arsenal began at the seventh minute mark when Ilkay Gündogan found the back of the net with a header, assisted by Gabriel Jesus. Then at the twelfth minute, Ferran Torres nailed another goal off a set piece. Gabriel Jesus banked in another goal at the forty-third mark as Manchester City took a three-nil lead in the First Half. The Second Half began like the first half and at the fifty-three-minute mark, Rodri got another goal for City with an assist from Ferran Torres. To make the matters more excruciating for Arsenal, Feran Torres nailed another goal at the eighty-four-minute mark. Manchester City controlled the possession a whopping 81% of the time, had 25 shot attempts while Arsenal had just one attempt at the goal, looking out of sync on both ends
