The former world two-weight class champion, Billy Joe Saunders, admitted that he does not want to think about his boxing career in the near future. However, he does not exclude its continuation.

Billy Joe in an interview with IFL TV's YouTube channel
Right now, I'm spending time with my kids and busy with little things and just living life. I haven't lived a normal life since I boxed. And I don't even remember when it happened. You know, fighters have different ways of doing it. Some forget about boxing between fights, and some can't live without it. I keep it balanced, and my balance really is my children and animals. And I'm just enjoying life, happy with myself, not thinking about boxing. And I think every fighter needs a break like that

Saunders had his last fight against Mexican Saul Alvarez in May of this year. The Brit lost to his opponent, refusing to continue the fight after the eighth round.

Billy Joe made his professional ring debut against fellow countryman Tony Hill in April 2012. That fight ended in the favor of Saunders by TKO in the first round. He has 30 wins (14 by KO) and one loss.
