St Helens crushed Leeds 28-0 and clinched the Women’S Super League title in women’s rugby. St Helens stifled any charge by Leeds and the team’s physicality and the game smarts held off the 2019 champions. Leah Burke and Jodie Cunningham chipped in with three first-half tries for St Helens and the team overwhelmed Leeds further in the second half.
Burke got in action once again while Amy Hardcastle and Zoe Harris also reeled in tries to score three tries in just ten minutes. Danielle Bush’s sixth try completed the demolition of the Leeds as Leeds remained scoreless throughout the game. Chantelle Crowl received the Player of the Match honors.
