Sun 75 Sparks 57: The Sun made easy work of Sparks away from home as Los Angeles continued to struggle at the offensive end. The Sun jumped out to an incredible 17-0 run to kickstart their affairs as their defense made Sparks struggle early in the game as Jonquel Jones continued to shoot from outside and also drew blood through her stellar drives. After eight points in the first quarter, Sparks showed again that they are susceptible to dry spells game after game. However, things go as expected as the best defensive team in the league rout the worst offensive team in the League.

For Sun, Jonquel Jones continued her incredible run this season and after making the first three of the game, she only poured in more pain for the Sparks on her way to 21 points and 14 rebounds. Brionna Jones proved too much for either Cox or Amanda and dominated the paint with her 15 points performance. Nneka did manage 12 points and 7 rebounds but even she struggled to shoot the ball as Niah Coffey remained the only effective shooter for the Sparks going for 12 points.
