Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone have been ruled out after picking up injuries during the Vegas Golden Knights game against the Los Angeles Kings. Max led the team in goals with 29 while Stone led the team in points with 61. The team is already missing fourth-line forwards Nicolas Roy and Brett Howden with undisclosed issues while William Carrier is out because of a concussion. On the other hand, Mattias Janmark has also missed due to COVID-19 protocols.

I told our group this morning, the silver lining of this, I'm hopeful, is that this might be the best thing to happen to us. You take out guys that we rely on for offense every night, and you've got to play with detail. You've got to play with foundation. You've got to be prepared to win 2-1, 3-2. We've got to get that back. We haven't had enough of that.
