Jamie Chadwick defended her W series title during the US Grand Prix in Austin. The racer also won in the maiden 2019 W Series and this time around outplayed all the other competitors by taking huge leads in all laps. Alice Powell who is Jamie’s eternal rival, finished at the sixth spot, after beginning from the ninth grid. The top-eight finishers are going to make a return for the 2022 session. With performances like these, Chadwick may compete in Formula 1 racing but the road is still long.

It's been hard work this year, I've been pushed all the way. To top it off the way we did, I couldn't be happier. I want to say thanks to W Series for the support all year and I'm just happy to finish on top.

Jamie Chadwick on her win

I have an amazing relationship with Williams and they've helped me with this championship behind the scenes - for that I'm very grateful to them. I don't know what will happen next but I'm just celebrating the win now.
