Nic Dowd and Washington Capitals agree on three years extension

Forward Nic Dowd and Washington Capitals have agreed on a three-year extension. The total value of the contract is around $4 million with an annual turnover of $1.3 million. Dowd has been part of Capitals’ outfit since 2018 and has made 180+ appearances for them. The Forward had his best year with Washington last season, claiming 11 goals in 56 matches.

Dowd also played a major hand in Washington’s victory over Boston in the last season’s playoffs when he nailed an Overtime Goal for the team’s Game 1 triumph. Dowd has been a part of the NHL since 2015-16, playing three seasons for Los Angeles Kings and one season with Vancouver Canucks. The Forward has bagged 1 goal in 9 games this season.
