NBA: Grizzlies reveal Ja Morant suffered a left knee sprain

During the Memphis Grizzlies’ loss to the Atlanta Hawks, Ja Morant had to be supported off the court and what appeared as a serious injury. Initial scans have revealed that he has suffered a knee sprain which is still a relief considering the scenes during the game. The injury was a non-contact one in nature, the type that is feared the most in the league but it seems like Ja will not miss the season at least. The team is yet to reveal how long he will be sidelined, if at all but the injury is not as serious as thought previously.

It's just tough when you see stuff like that. It's just nothing you want to see in the game.
